Praying the Bible ~ Acts 27:25

Praying through verses or passages of the Bible is a great way to help you pray according to the will and desires of God. Below is a passage of Scripture and a sample prayer. I would encourage you to pray that prayer, or, even better, read the passage and pray as God leads you.

Text: Acts 27:25
“So take heart, men, for I have faith in God that it will be exactly as I have been told.” (English Standard Version)

Prayer
Father, you are the God who keeps your promises and is true to your word. You never say yes and then give a no. You never say no and then respond with yes. You are true in every way. As you have been faithful in the past, so we believe you will be faithful in the future. Father, increase our faith! Help us to live each day more faithfully to you, remembering how you are faithful to your promises and the good you give us in Christ. Amen.
