The final proverb of Proverbs 11 reminds us that judgment is inevitable. We will stand accountable for all that we do.
Yet, we don’t have to find ourselves in the category of the the wicked and the sinful. We can trust in Jesus and receive his righteousness. We can trust in Jesus and be made holy and blameless before God. We can trust in Jesus and have grace and forgiveness abound to us. We can trust in Jesus and be given new hearts and a new spirit. We can trust in Jesus, have our sins already judged through his cross, and reap the rewards of eternal joy.
That is all ours if only we will let go of ourselves.
This the plea before judgment. To hear the good news of who Jesus is and what he has done, to reject our sin, and to stand righteous before God because of his love and grace.
