This Sunday we’ll conclude 1 Thessalonians 4 with verses 13-18 and consider how we can face death and grief with hope because of the resurrection of Jesus. Then on Sunday night we’ll continue our video study on Scripture and Authority in the Age of Skepticism while the children have dress rehearsal for their upcoming Christmas program. Good Grief ~ 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18
- We all will face death, but as Christians we can face death with hope (4:13)
- We build hope in the face of death by remembering the resurrection of Jesus (4:14)
- We build hope in the face of death by looking forward to our resurrection through Jesus (4:14-17)
- In the face of death, these truths allow us to grieve with great hope and to encourage one another (4:13, 18)
