This Sunday we’ll take a look at Job 19:25-27 and ways that we can battle the darkness of despair by developing a forward-looking faith. Then in the evening, we’ll start a 4-week video study based on Eric Metaxas’ Dietrich Bonhoeffer biography–a story of great faithfulness to Jesus in the face of the great evil of Nazi Germany. Battling Despair with a Forward-Looking Faith ~ Job 19:25-27
- Whenever in the midst of despair or depression, see a doctor–there could be a physical issue clouding your ability to clearly see Jesus
- Then, battle the despair by developing a forward-looking faith:
- Build your relationship with God before darkness strikes (19:25)
- Long to experience God more fully (19:26-27)
- Be assured of better days to come (19:25-26)
