Prayer is vital to the Christian life and to the health of the church. Simply put, without God leading in our lives and churches then we are headed for failure, stagnation, and apathy. The beautiful thing is that God in his sovereignty works and moves in his people, his churches, and his world in response to prayer.
Mike Leake, a pastor in southern Missouri and blogger at Borrowed Light, has put together a Facebook group challenging people to spend 31 days in a row praying specifically for their church, starting on Monday November 9th.
