This Sunday we kick off our sermon series to go along with our 2015-16 journey through the Bible. We start with the aptly titled “Beginnings,” a look at what Genesis 1-3 teaches us about God and ourselves. The Bible is, first, God’s story; second, the story of those who lived it; and third, our story.
Genesis 1-3 teaches us:
To stand in awe of and worship God (Gen 1&2)
To love, honor, and care for one another and to care for our world (Gen 1&2)
To abhor sin and cling to Christ (Gen 3)
